This is "the one" that re-ignited my passion...actually, more like put my passion on over-drive ✨❤✨ For @joshjohnson's forum tonight, I give you my favorite photo from my 1st Instagram-inspired photo shoot. I had been shooting and posting to Facebook, from my iPhone, for a little over a year and had just realized what IG really was all about...I decided to go shoot at the two places I had been dying to shoot for the 12 years I'd lived in Eugene ...somehow, seeing what others were doing on IG gave me the Guts to go ask permission. It was a complete and utter THRILL to gain access to the whiskey barrel cutting company, as well as the steel recycle yard. These two photo-shoots set my IG gallery in motion, and I have been nonstop ever since. My mission (passion) now is walking and shooting...going on photo hikes and hunts, stalking sunset and its lighting, discovering wildlife ☺ ...that's usually all it takes, a good walk. adrenajeanne : Thanks for the interest in my photos @3leftfeet (yours are always awesome!) ...almost all of my #yourtrashmytreasure series are taken at our local steelyard who deals with industrial recyclable materials. They have piles and sections upon sections of material in various stages of sorting & recycling. It is a place I had been photographically salivating over for about 12 years and finally got the nerve to ask to come in. I feel so fortunate, they have given me 2 personal tours and allowed me to photograph the material they work with everyday. All of these were taken within the past 2 months. What they do there is amazing and I can not wait to go back 😁. Thank you also for asking! (This section was slightly flooded from heavy rain.)
