ardsgrrrl : We use the Berkey water system... It's countertop, non-electric, gravity-fed, and can turn nasty lake water into clear, pure water. Removes EVERYTHING. Each one comes with two standard black filters, and then we purchased the additional white filters that remove fluoride and arsenic. We have the Imperial model. It has a 4.5gallon reservoir and filters 16 gallons per hour. We cook with it, fill our ice trays, drink, etc. I even water the plants with it. Lol Love, love, LOVE! 😍It was around $350USD, and we will never need another system. For the showers, we have the filters that attach onto the shower heads. They don't filter everything, but at least they get the chlorine, which is highest priority. 😌 @my_cleaneating_journey
