Bismillah. Here's what I like about this picture...When I first became Muslim about 12 years ago the very first masjid in the city I live in (#lynn #lynnmass #01902) had just opened up 5 or 6 weeks before I said my #shahadah. By Allahs will more #hispanics #africanamericans and #whiteamericans had accepted Islam among the youth in my city. Today I stop at a red light; a busy intersection of the city and look to my left and see this. To most people they might think "yeah ok its a sign with #arabic wording and #halal sign" but it really signifies a lot more to me than just that because here I am today a #latino in Lynn #Massachusetts #USA about 1450 years after the time of #TheProphetMuhammad and I'm #Muslim. That is truly incredible. May #Allah guide our friends and family to Islam, may He guide the Muslims to be good examples of Islam so that non-muslims can at least know & understand that #IslamIsNotAReligionOfTerror and killing and may He guide us to correct belief in Him,righteous speech and actions & patience #Ameen. #IslamIsSpreading #AllahuAkbar

the_bearded_pr : I feel you akhi. When I said shahadah, there were so few Latino Muslims in my area. Now, I see them everywhere. Including a masjid where the majority are Latino!! Not that the race thing matters, but it's beautiful to see when Latino were prominently catholic.
