As @getfit_feelsexy would say "SOAK YOUR NUTS!" Soaking your nuts before you consume them releases more vitamins and this allows your body to absorb nutrients and health benefits more easily. There are other health benefits but that's the main one, read up about it of you're curious! Put your nuts in a container and cover them with water, let it soak over night, peel them (if they aren't already peeled all the way), roast them in the oven for about 15 min and store in a container. You can even season them if you want, like sprinkle some cinnamon on them halfway through the roasting process. (I've never tried it so don't hate me if it doesn't work). 🌟BONUS🌟The benefits of almonds can be unlocked further by taking soaking to the next level and actually sprouting your nuts. Sprouted almonds are softer, moister and sweeter as well as being easier to digest. Sprouting almonds is also the only way to release lipase, an enzyme which digests fat. To sprout almonds, soak your almonds overnight for 10 to 12 hours, rinse and place them in glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator. It generally takes between one and three days for the almonds to sprout and you can expect a 1/8-inch sprout to grow.

Banana bread sticks? Haha another semi failed attempt at baking healthy. 2 ripe bananas, 2/4 cup almond meal, 1 scoop vanilla whey, 2 eggs, 1/4 tsp baking soda, pinch of salt, 1/3 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp raw honey, 1 tbsp vanilla flavor. Blend everything an bake for about 15 minutes (muffins or loaf). Reasons why mine is bad - semi dry, not sweet enough, and didn't rise. If you make this I πŸ’’HIGHLYπŸ’’suggest you tweak it and add a couple of other ingredients. Do not make it exactly how I did! Still tastes decent but it could be better!

archel_ibsh : :) use apple sauce to make it more moist! That is what I do. The recipe I used calls for 1/4 cup of oil, so I use one 1/4 cup of unsweetened natural apple sauce! It is amazing! :) The recipe is 1 1/2 all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and salt, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 2 egg whites, 1 cup of bananas, 3/4 cup sugar, an 1/4 cup cooking oil. It's 125 cal, 2 g protein, 22 carbs, 4 g, of fat, 0 cholesterol, 81 mg sodium, and 73 mg of potassium. Which isn't bad, but I replace the flour with whole wheat, the sugar with honey, the oil with apple sauce, and use as many bananas as I want. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes! Perfect! You can Change this recipe a lot of different ways to suit your needs! Enjoy if you ever try it!

I get so stressed when I'm out and I'm hungry and need something to eat because I forgot to bring some snacks or meals with me. Happened to me a couple of times. But I went to my local grocery store and bought some things. Top snack is organic banana for 29cents and organic plum for 35cents (total = 64cents) bottom lunch is strawberries for 2dollars, avo for 50cents and salad with spinach, krab (took it out), eggs, tomatoes, olives, vinegar, and olive oil for 2dollars (total = 4.50d). Eating healthy is not expensive! At the end of the day would you rather invest a couple extra dollars in your health or a couple extra hundred dollars on your medical bills?
