*I'm going to share a bit of my life, please do not judge.* Why iRave?
I never truly belonged anywhere. I was the "Outcast". No one was ever mean to me in High School, I just didn't have much friends.
I went through depression for about 7 months, went through a break-up & didn't have someone by my side to help me get through these tough times.
I got through it somehow and I'm amazed how strong I was to get through it on my own.
After high school, I moved to San Francisco, where I currently attend SFSU. That's where my life completely changed.
I knew I had to make changes for my own good. I met Sarah, who is my best friend. She took me to my first rave in San Francisco. I completely owe it to her.
I knew then that this was how I wanted to spend the rest of my life, I loved the vibes, everyone was friendly and nice. I felt like I belonged here, like I finally had somewhere I can be welcomed and not feel judged.
But the most IMPORTANT thing that changed my life was the Music. Music did really transform my life, there's not a day that passes without me listening to music. I've met the most amazing people at these festivals/events/raves build the best friendships and made tons of memories that always bring smiles. You know who you are, you guys have helped get back on my feet and been there for me and that's more than what I can ask. I love you guys! β€ππππ
I've shared my story in depth with a few other people, I'm glad to say I've inspired them and helped them get through tough times as well.
