Here's an interesting #radar comparison I took last night around 2am of The Weather Channel ↖, uWeather app ↗, Weather Underground ↙ and The College of DuPage NEXlab School of Meteorology ↘ my go-to for clean #NEXRAD images. It's plainly obvious how watered down The Weather Channel radar is as compared to the rest and I laid out in order of worst to best radar. The notion of "ground clutter" "night bursts" "clear mode" and other such misleading and inaccurate terms are used by almost all meteorologists/deniers to try to explain away radar "anomalies" that can be witnessed everyday. Are we to believe that the NEXRAD Doppler technology is so bad that it's constantly giving false readings, signals, lines, bursts etc that are unwanted, but the most powerful country in the world with the brightest minds just can't correct these issues, or would it make more sense that what we see is all intentional, done with purpose to manipulate our weather in ways very few realize. Should we believe that a school of meteorology has a lesser analysis than The Weather Channel that's owned by NBCUniversal, Blackstone Group & Bain Capital?
Am I a conspiracy theorist or a realist who looks a little deeper than the "truth" we are told on TV. The weather reports we are given on TV are a lie and it's possible that meteorologists are so very wrong, so very often, because the weather is being changed by the hands of man, which a computer model does not put into the equation. Hence the repeated phrases "we've never seen a storm behave this way" or "this storm is unlike anything we've ever seen". atlantic_skywatch : NEXRAD or Nexrad (Next-Generation Radar) is a network of 159 high-resolution S-band Doppler weather radars operated by the National Weather Service, an agency of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) within the United States Department of Commerce. Its technical name is WSR-88D, which stands for Weather Surveillance Radar, 1988, Doppler. NEXRAD detects precipitation and atmospheric movement or wind. It returns data which when processed can be displayed in a mosaic map which shows patterns of precipitation and its movement. The radar system operates in two basic modes, selectable by the operator – a slow-scanning clear-air mode for analyzing air movements when there is little or no activity in the area, and a precipitation mode, with a faster scan for tracking active weather.
