I made this with an aching heart, for anyone who has ever had to put their best buddy to sleep. 💔When we were told to make end of life decisions for our Bronxy, it was the hardest few weeks of my life. Having to help your buddy cross to the other side is the toughest part of responsible pet ownership. Nothing anyone was saying was comforting me. I knew it was the right thing but that didn't make it feel any less wrong. 🙏
Until someone (please ID yourself lol, want to thank you) said something short and sweet to me: 🌹"WE SUFFER, SO THEY DON'T"🌹 The more I thought that through, the more I realized how powerful it was.👊 When we make the decision to help our babies pass on, we are the ones who are taking on all the suffering, heartbreak, guilt, loss, so that our babies don't need to suffer. 🐾Simple.... Powerful...and it helped me see the whole situation in a different light. 🐾 My heart still split into 2 that day, one half will always be with Bronx, until we meet again.
