donutgtp : Yeah but the thing is that when I put a computer meant for a gtp my transmission started hitting while changing gears.. So will I have to get a reprogrammed computer for a GT?

clarkdbelyk : @donutgtp it's still the same tranny. Gtp's just have an "HD" version of the 4t65e. You can actually even buy HD upgrade kits

donutgtp : But why was the transmission hitting hard with gear changes, as soon as I put the original pcm all was normal..

donutgtp : I wouldn't like to buy a pcm for a gtp and have the same outcome, any advice

clarkdbelyk : @donutgtp it raises transmission fluid pressures as well. Kinda like the performance shift option on the 97-99's

ajbrinks : If anything the zzp PCM should help the gt trans out to become a Gtp trans just get the upgraded kit from zzp to make your trans a HD aka Gtp trans @clarkdbelyk @donutgtp
