Prior and after our 2week Thai getaway, we stayed a total of 2 weeks in Manila too. It was indeed a 1 month of nonstop exploring, walking, shopping, dining out, dining in, chilling over conversation, hugs, kisses and more. Then some familiar realities hit me hard afresh. It's a beautiful bliss whenever Gelix is physically around and it's fun to be alive. Moreover a vacation wouldn't be complete without that one accessory you take along with you, the mighty camera. And because we took tons of photos he kept transferring the files from dslr to a 500gb portable hard drive, apparently a big capacity and a big help. When we finally got home, a bad surprise occurred. You can imagine my dismay when I found out 90% of Manila photos just like bubbles disappeared in the air! I've spent forever searching high and low for the missing files but I couldn't find them. Blamed him for being so plain careless then I shifted the blame on me for not being proactive and attentive to checking on things then I shifted the blame on the portable hard drive, a saviour turned out to be a disaster. A year has flown by and up untill the other day I was still upset about it.😕 But now I decide to let it go. I let it go with ease and not let yesterday's disappointment overshadow my smile today. Smiling when I think back the old happy times is what I must, should and just ought to keep.😄
