ksoms : All good, in order to start a business you probably should take some business in school. I didn't, and it took me years to figure it out on my own haha. But my advice to you would be to take a new media type course in university, one that teaches you design, web design, and entry level marketing. Because now days its near impossible to get a job as just a graphic designer (the only places you'll find that is print shop's where you make forms and other non exciting things like that for $14/hour nothing more.) you'll find most creative agencies (the cool design jobs) look for graphic and web designers (someone who can do both) or graphic designing marketing coordinators. The money is in web these days, so take graphic design that also teaches you things like web design (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, etc) and also start getting really good at art. Take lynda.com's training in illustrator, photoshop and especially in design before you go to uni (I assume your not there yet) and get an edge over people who would otherwise just be starting. @pikachutori

Art is the reason I wanted to get in this field, its all i have ever loved doing, its a passion for me. :) that is so true, we had an event today, called a career fair. And a bunch of people from business come and talk about there business. Alot of them were either print, and web. I like doing advertisements, package designs, anything dealing with design.
