"Prim and your mom are in town," Gale says, as I shovel food into my mouth. "Mmph?" "I suppose you mean why?" I nod to this, since I can't speak with pancakes in my mouth. "They're getting medicine, but also trying to get Lady to..." He starts laughing and getting red, "You know, goat things!"
I swallow the pancakes, "Little goat babies?"
He nods, and he's still laughing; he's so immature sometimes. I give a fake smile as he cleans up the kitchen, his laughter slowly dieing out. "How long till they come ba-"
"They won't be back for a while," Gale interrupts, pulling me into a kiss.
I push him off, poking him in the face, "Only I can do that, it's my job."
He laughs, "Alright, Ms Everdeen!"
I roll my eyes and walk over to the couch, plopping down and turning on the tv. "Hello, Panem!" Ceased Flickerman? Why is he on the screen now? "What you've all been waiting for, the announcement of the twist for this years Quarter Quell!"

Except I'm not alone? I rub my eyes and see Gale, looking at me worriedly. "Are you alright?" He asks, his gray eyes catching mine. He seems happy that I'm awake- I hope he knows not to expect me to talk, it hasn't worked lately. "Gale," I squeak. He kinda laughs, handing me a fancy designed glass of water (is this seriously what we wasted my money for winning the games on? Would our old cups not do?) and I drink all the water. "Hi," I say, laughing slightly. "Katniss," He says, leaning towards me, "I missed you." I don't know why, but this makes me blush. Shouldn't I be used to him being like this? Guess again.
Brushing the hair out of his eyes I whisper, "I missed you too." He smiles and leans in for a kiss, but I simply push my hand against his face. "Katniss needs food, not Gale." He starts laughing, but still seems a little hurt, so I give him a peck on the cheek. I get up to walk downstairs, but Gale carries me. "What are you-"
"I got you, okay?" He snickers as he carries me bridal style downstairs, as I struggle.
I won the Hunger Games but I can't get out of being carried, great.

~Katniss POV~ (Part 1/2)
"Ah," I say one day. I've been in the Capitol for 3 days, which is where I've been treated. It feels like forever.
A doctor looks at me puzzled, so I repeat myself, clearly. "Ah."
Another one, her name is Alana, asks me to speak more. I use one of the techniques by my 'therapist'. I stutter out, "My name is Katniss Everdeen," I cough a bit, but continue, "My home is district 12." Start with the basic, move onto the difficult. "I am seventeen years old." Alana writes things down, delighted. "I was in the 74th Hunger Games, I won." I speak louder, "I want to go home."
Not even one hour later, I'm back at district 12, being hugged by Prim, My mother, and Gale. Madge comes by too, crying and asking if I need anything, to which I nod no. I'm to tired to talk, yet I muster enough strength for one word, "Tired."
Gale picks me up and places me over his back, carrying me up the stairs and laying me in my bed. The room has been kept relatively clean, but painted a crisp green now. Gale leaves and Prim comes inside, and she asks if I need anything; again, I nod no. I fall into the sleep of nothing, wishing something would appear. A sharp pain in my hand that I don't comprehend is the only thing I get, and I hear Marvel.
