mattshiv : @teenagediplomat I can confirm it is Region B locked. Hopefully, this will get licensed to Olive Films for the U.S. but I couldn't wait!

teenagediplomat : @mattshiv is the quality that much of an upgrade from the DVD? I have a region B "steelbook" Blu-ray edition of Return of the Living Dead that I managed to get working on the ps3 but not all features work..

mattshiv : @teenagediplomat The old Sony dvd isn't even anamorphic and kind of looks like trash. I only popped this in last night, but I was floored at the colors in the transfer. It looked fantastic.

teenagediplomat : @mattshiv good point, I'd only seen it on VHS for so long DVD was welcomed when it arrived. I have to imagine Olive will release it, Hartley's had such bad luck with rights and distribution

mattshiv : @teenagediplomat The Sony DVD is out of print, so that is a good sign. They seem to be hanging on to Henry Fool as that is available digitally from Sony although only in SD.
