A Tonight I've been touched and I just want to share this. I didn't know the person personally but he was suffering and I just felt compelled to reach out and help him, I just felt like he needed to hear that Jesus cares for him and that Jesus loves him. More than usual when we are faced with circumstances, being humans, being sinners, our first instinct is to face that circumstance head on, on our own. Once we've tried everything and the circumstance still remains at large, we feel defeated, confused and angry. But we always forget that Jesus is there, he was always there we were just too stubborn to ask him for his help and guidance. And its when we have absolutely nothing left in us, no fight whatsoever, when we are at our lowest, do we realise that Jesus is enough, that Jesus is all we could ever need and want in our lives. It is then that Jesus opens doors, belittles our circumstances and shows us exactly how powerful he truly is.
nesian_missy24 : There is no problem, no issue, no trouble, no circumstance too big for Jesus, he created this earth and the people in it. He knows each one of us by name, he knows our paths, our purposes and our future, so ofcourse he knows the trials, the circumstances, the problems we will face and sure enough he will be right there to help you face it. Whenever I start venting about my problems to my mum and asking her to help me pray about them, all my mum always ever says is welcome back to Jesus sweetiepie. She says that the reason why Jesus gives us problems and circumstances is not so he can just test our faith, its so that we can draw closer to him, its so that we can realise that we cannot lean on our understandings, that we cannot depend on men for help, men will always fail us but Jesus never will. He gives us circumstances so we can turn back to him, so that we can pray to him and ask for his help and guidance, so we develop a relationship of trust, faith and hope in him. And my mum's on point. When I face problems, its always friends, family and even strangers that I turn to, but once I'm tired, once I realise they can't help me, I realise that Jesus is all I need and that this whole time he was just waiting on me and I can just imagine how he would be in person saying "Oh child, it took you long enough aye, come here and let me take care of your problems for you!" The thought of that, is wonderful isn't it???
nesian_missy24 : Jesus is always there, he will always be there, he will never leave you never forsake you. And its okay that we are sinners, that we fall short of his glory, that we make mistakes he loves us anyway, and unconditionally at that. Men, nah they can never love you unconditionally, not even your own parents. So, no its better for you to put your trust in Jesus than in mere., mortal men. Have you ever wondered of the birds of the sky, or the fish in the sea? Where do they get their food, their shelter? Why are they always so carefree and happy its cause they know who their creator is and how kind, loving and gentle he is. Aren't you worth more than the birds and the fishes? I know I am. And although I may fail, although I may forget him sometimes, although I may make mistakes, even disappoint him; I know for a fact that he loves me nonetheless, that he will always love me, unconditionally. That's how amazing my Jesus is :) And he can be just the same for you. I am going to be honest here, the churches you attend don't matter, Jesus only cares for your heart. So if you say, "Oh, I don't attend church, I've never got the hang of it, I don't understand the Bible, its too complicated, too long of a read!" Its cool. It took God 7 days to create this earth so surely he won't expect you to know him and the Bible in a day, week, month or a year. Its a life long process where you learn each day, where Jesus is by you everyday. Take it step by step, I am. And believe me if your truly searching for him, longing to get to know him. He will find you. You don't even have to be in church. He is Omnipotent and Omnipresent. He will find you, and you'll never be the same again.
