Okay before anyone who smokes or takes any substance starts to get upset hear me out: I am not against drug use, but I am very against drug abuse. It gets tiring to hear about people who are constantly high saying that they do it for spiritual reasons. I personally feel nothing spiritual while high, i think it clouds the mind. Then again I feel most spiritual and awake when I'm sober. A substance can act as a gateway to awareness of other dimensions such as psychedelics, but you do not need psychedelics to talk to higher dimensioned beings or to trip, it's all about owning your own consciousness. I used to abuse MDMA, and it started out as a spiritual thing. Then it became abuse because I no longer was using it for spiritual growth, I was using it out of boredom or compulsion. So you can smoke weed (I do on rare occasions!), you can trip balls, roll face, do whatever but be honest with yourself as to why you're doing it. The truth is sobriety is the healthiest state to be in, and you can achieve any high you want while sober. Drugs are just a quick way to achieve it. I'm pretty tired this morning so I hope this rambling made sense, and again I'm not meaning to offend anyone.
