As you probably already know, #sleep is a very important factor when it comes to improving your metabolism. However, make sure you are getting QUALITY sleep. If you wake up feeling tired, you're probably not getting the rest your body needs. If you have a tendency to become stressed, this could be a factor. Additionally, for some, eating right before bed also doesn't help! If stress is the issue, try walking for 30-45 minutes before bed. This will help release a significant amount of cortisol (a hormone that will make it hard to sleep!). As far as food goes, try to have a light meal at the end of the day, preferably one that isn't high in fats (fats, like coconut oil, can give you energy...which you may not want right before bed!). Anything you can do that will improve your sleep will help your metabolism! tragically_cute : Mine is always 97.6 unless I'm sick, as well. I've had my thyroid checked twice in two separate states/hospitals and they both came back with no issue....but I haven't lost and kept of a pound in 3 years. Some of it is because I wasn't consistent at first but I don't know what the issue could be now that I've gotten my act together. It's frustrating but I refuse to give up. This is not the body I belong in and I won't settle for anything less than healthy and strong.

I lost 30 pounds and then the doctors told me my levels were off and to stop taking the meds. I gained all 30 pounds back and more within 4 months. I have had every blood test possible and have my thyroid checked almost every few months. Ive been working out 6 days a week, cut out bread, rice and pasta and still can't lose weight.
