kys_mommy : *done my part.
doubledutymommy : The LAW is 1year AND 20lbs to be forward facing. It's not one or the other. You are putting him in serious danger and breaking the law
xcaityx : Yes law and your manual will both day 1 year AND 20lbs. He should be rear facing hun
xcaityx : Say*
ellenbobelon : @doubledutymommy @kys_mommy She always faces him the other way, who the hell cares. She knows what's best for her child. Worry about your own child. I'm sure she appreciates the concern, and thanks for it. Now back off.
kys_mommy : Who the hell cares? Well she should considering motor vehicle accidents is the #1 killer of children. An infants head is big compared to the rest of the body, while forward facing the head will violently be thrown forward & since a baby this young doesn't have completely ossified neck & spine bones chances are his neck would break & he would die if they got into an accident. & I'm sure the law cares. Considering she is breaking the law.@ellenbobelon
_katy_marie_ : Obviously not since she's illegally forward facing him
doubledutymommy : @ellenbobelon um but he's not. It doesn't matter that this is a long trip. In sure that's the reason.. So the baby can see Mommy since he's in the car for a long time but that doesn't matter. She's young (as I'm sure you are) and can always learn a thing or two from woman who have had children for longer. Believe me, we've all made mistakes but it's about learning and accepting those mistakes. Not writing them off. Please do your research @morganannerawr becuz your little cutie is NOT at all safe! As we've said, you are breaking the law and he can die :( read your manual. Google "infant car seat law", search YouTube for "rear facing vs forward facing".
