czechphoto : @tomrs3 I know, it is, but this car is really great car for petrolheads. CSL wants to be controlled. I mean is car for real drivers and engine, chasssis, etc. is great and automac gearbox is mistake in my opinion. I think it will be great if CSL has been sold with automatic AND manual gearbox. Only few choices - that's what is bigger mistake of BMW in last years. But is pretty easy and cheap to transform SMG to classic manual. (under the SMG mechanism is classic manual gearbox (for example you can't transform DSG to manual, but SMG you can)
tomrs3 : Ha ok i agree with you. Motorsport need manual gearbox and not only automatic. Like the new M5 which has only automatic gearbox in Europe. But now if you look sales statistics you can see that sport cars are increasingly sold with automatic gearbox. Its a new wave of sport cars drivers who prefer automatic... Its not really bad but for classic drivers who are manual's adept its not good for them.

Today's cars are fast, but less fun. And car factories makes cars with this recipe...
