Just do one more miricle... Please... Please don't be... Don't be dead..." She cried, the German soldier cried her heart out. Weeping over her brother's gravestone and praying, just praying this was all some kind of cruel joke. T-the wall... It's going to fall, I know it!! Please!! Just come back so you can see it yourself... I want you to see how strong we are, how strong I've become brother... You weren't a failure in raising me!! I know I shouldn't know that but you were drunk and it slipped brother!!" She pleaded to God, to Prussia... Anyone. "Please... Don't die..."

┅Gilbert savoured the strong smell of the flowers. The sunlight was absolutely perfect as it tingled wonderfully on the back of his pale neck. Prussia loved these small moments, of pleasure and feel. Moments like these were gifts. Especially now. This was the Prussian's first time seeing the sunlight in ages, and everytime a time like this ended he wondered if it would be his last. Strong makeup covered his scars and bruises, the pain of the last lashing stinging on his back still. Almost every second that went by, even while tortured, Prussia savoured. All that mattered was that he was still alive, and a spark of hope sprouted within him that he would live to see the future.
┅Gilbert leaned over and smelled a dark, red rose, not noticing the shadow building up behind him. His eyes widened in fear, a shudder adding to his stance. Unaware of who the person was behind him, he automatically assumed it was Russia, or another one of his torturers. 'I-I'm sorry I t-took so long...' He whispered under his breath, tears building in his eyes.

The nation of Germany had finally fallen; Her leader, dead for only a few weeks before the unconditional surrender of her forces. Troops in Italy had surrendered, much like the Italians they were occupying, and now on June the fifth; she was being divided. Disgraced, broken, and ruled by the allied forces.

Litze was on the ground in front of her sworn enemies, laying there in defeat. What could she do? her saving grace was long dead, the military she was once so proud of had fallen into the allied grasp, even her own allies had abandoned her. The one thing she fought to protect was now being dissolved, but she could not even rise to face these six other nations to surrender honourably. "Please.... Don't do this to them..." She spoke softly though in broken and almost incomprehensible English. "they were...i-ignorant... Followed the leader...no more...they did not know..." She did not speak for herself, to save her own skin, but for her people. She knew how badly this war had scarred them, she had seen them begging in the streets for gott's sake! But now all she could do was plead with the enemy. And she was taught /never/ to beg for /anything/... however, in a rush of German mixed with bitter tears and blood, she did so. "Bitte!!! tun Sie das nicht! Ich schwöre auf mein Grab, wenn Sie mein Volk ziehen zu lassen, werde ich das tun, was Sie wollen!!!" •••
