From the world heritage site "Behstun" which is located on a hill, you can enjoy panorama view of "Persian Royal Road" which is now a well-maintained road. From here, Babylon / Baghdad is on your right, 300-400km away, and Ekbatana / Hamadan is on your left, about 120-130km away. Imagine & Feel the Royal Road which becomes Silk Road spreading like towards Central Asia, China, Mogol, Korea, Japan! :) By the way, the building in the middle is (re-constructed) Carabanserai. Also the left is one of heritage sites. 眼下に王の道を見下ろす。手前真ん中はキャラバンサライ（隊商宿）の跡が修復済。右手にバビロン、左手にエクバタナ。現代風には、右手にバグダッド、左手にハマダン、そして広がるシルクロード、その先はジパング＼(^o^)／

I think Zoroastorian symbol is somewhat similar to Aerosmith's.. The left is Darius the Great. All the "dots" around is Cuneiform letters. ----> The inscription includes three versions of the same text, written in three different cuneiform script languages: Old Persian, Elamite, and Babylonian (a later form of Akkadian). Used like Rosatta Stone to know cuneiform. 風の谷のナウシカと、そしてエアロスミスに通じるものを感じる。。。ゾロアスター教のシンボルが右上に。横向いたおじさん（アフラ=マズダ神とする説が有力。）が乗っている有翼円盤です。そして、左に座るのがアケメネス朝ペルシャのダレイオス大王です。周りの細かい模様に見えるものは楔形文字。三種類の言語の碑文が楔形文字で書かれているんです。ロゼッタストーン（ヒエログリフ解読で有名、本物は通常ロンドンの大英博物館にある）のように、楔形文字の解読に使われました。私自身は、今まで行ったアケメネス朝の遺跡の中では、この場所が一番好きです。この碑文は採掘場のような岩肌の上にあり、そのためここからの見晴らしもよく、かつての「王の道」〜今は車が行き交っている〜をぼーっと眺めるのがとても好きです。Behistun (pronounce like Besotoon)、ビーソトゥーン。→詳しい説明はｗｅｂで Grasp some ideas here plz :http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behistun_Inscription /日本語 http://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ベヒストゥン碑文
