anjolinac : Of course I can help ^.^ it's good to hear you want to give him a good life. Ok so here are some of the basics, make sure you keep their tank between 80-90 degrees with a hot side that stays around 90 and a cool side from 80-85 degrees. You can obtain the heat by having either a under the tank heater or a heat lamp. The best thing about leos is that they don't require UVB or UVA lighting so they're easier than most reptiles. They are nocturnal so the don't need a bright light you can buy a red or black heat lamp. They eat either crickets or meal, wax, or super worms everyday. Make sure you feed them bugs no larger than the space in between their eyes. They need a calcium supplement, sprinkled on their food or in a bowl. As for their tank anything 10gallons and up is perfect. Dont use sand because it'll cause impaction and its a pain to deal with. Use either repi carpet or newpaper or paper towels. Make sure they have at least two hides one of the warm side and one on the cool so they can regulate their body temp. They also need a humid hide which could be a plastic container with paper towels to keep it moist for when they shed, leos can have shedding problems as they grow so this helps them. A leopard gecko can live up to 20 yrs plus with proper care so youll have ours for awhile ^.^ If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask! Have Fun and enjoy ^.^
