I injured my clavicle, nothing serious, but couldn't get any freakin' doctors to see me for the past week and a half! Very stressful because my joint bone in my neck has been sticking out which had me very worried. So I decided to just go and see what they could do at the ER. It was a horrible visit but at least I got x-rays and got to see an orthopedist today. Now I only have to lay off gym and re-modeling for some time while it heals. Bone will stick out, there is no solution for that. :( Thanks again for all the love!!!!

fancey : Thanks, I'm completely new to the idea of layering, so if you have a basic starting suggestion... I've got a million photo apps that I love but what would you advise I get for this? TIA!

anatera : @fancey I'm not sure which one would be the best. I think filterstorm might have some powerful tools to do similar things. However the way I do it is kind of simulating my Photoshop process. With regards to iPhone pics, I use this process more often to dodge and burn but you can use it for countless other things like applying certain effects selectively kind of like when people have a black an white image and just one object has color in it. In this particular case I processed the image in Camera+ and the flag went black as a result, so I took it into PS Express where you can up the exposure very easily, the result was a horrendously over exposed pic EXCEPT for the flag which looked just right. I took both processed images and created two layers in Sketchbook Mobile (overexposed was at the bottom) then I just took my eraser and erased the dark flag to expose the lighter version. I'm not sure if Sketchbook Mobile would be overkill but since I use it for drawing, it works for me. I hope this shed some light on the subject for you, again don't hesitate to ask, I'll try to answer as best as I can!!! :)

anatera : @ebilflindas sadly no :( I guess you could simulate using colors and transparency but nothing readily available.

ebilflindas : Check out Iris, if you haven't already. Supports layers and blending, as long as your layers have the same dimensions.

anatera : @ebilflindas I've kind of simulated burning using black and overlay using white layers but like I said, nothing like desktop applications. I think there are other apps like Photo Fx that allow layering, however I have Photo Fx and it hasn't really captured me quite yet.
